Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott join ‘AHS: Apocalypse’

Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott are coming again to the scene of the crime.

The 2 stars, who appeared within the first season of govt producer Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story,” are set to return to the upcoming season, titled “Apocalypse,” Selection has realized.

Their return was extremely anticipated, on condition that this season of FX’s anthology sequence is a crossover between the primary season, “Homicide Home,” and season three, “Coven.”

This season, the eighth within the sequence, is an enormous reunion of “AHS” stars: Together with Britton and McDermott, Jessica Lange will returning, as will fellow sequence alums Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Taissa Farmiga, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Stevie Nicks. “Assassination of Gianni Versace” star Cody Fern can also be set to seem this season as Michael Langdon.

Langdon was the kid of Tate Langdon (Evan Peters) and Vivien Harmon (Connie Britton), who was born in the course of the occasions of “Homicide Home.” It was revealed within the epilogue of the season finale that Michael is actually the Anti-Christ, which can little doubt tie in with the “Apocalypse” theme of the brand new season.

“Apocalypse” is ready to premiere on FX on Sept. 12.
