‘Inside the Actors Studio’ moving to Ovation network

After 24 years on the Bravo network, “Inside the Actors Studio” has discovered a brand new dwelling.

New episodes of the iconic interview sequence about the artwork of performing will start airing on the Ovation channel in the fall of 2019.

Sequence creator and longtime host James Lipton — now 92 — will flip over the microphone to an assortment of yet-to-be-named visitor hosts for the new reveals.

“It’s very gratifying to see the legacy of Inside The Actors Studio being carried ahead for a brand new technology to admire and revel in,” Lipton mentioned in an announcement. “I’m excited to see the new hosts interact with the company and college students and proceed to entertain viewers in the US and round the world.”

Co-producers Ovation and the Actors Studio can even mine the sequence’ intensive library to assemble particular episodes.

In an announcement, Actors Studio Co-president Ellen Burstyn praised the sequence’ “profound impression” on the group’s MFA program at Tempo College, including, “I do know my co-presidents, Alec Baldwin and Al Pacino, and our board of administrators share my enthusiasm that Ovation has come on board to proceed this enduring legacy.”

“Inside the Actors Studio” will proceed to be taped at the Michael Schimmel Heart for the Arts at Tempo College’s New York Metropolis campus. Its most up-to-date new episode aired on Bravo in January.
