Tiger Woods Wins First Golf Tournament in Five Years

Tiger Woods gained his first skilled golf match since 2013 on the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Membership in Atlanta on Sunday, NPR studies.

Woods now sits at No. 13 on the PGA golf rating, after being ranked No. 1,199 in the world following his return to competitors in December after his fourth again surgical procedure.

“I can’t imagine I pulled this off,” He mentioned after his match on the trophy presentation. “I’ve been sitting on 79 for about 5 years now, and to get 80 is a reasonably damned good feeling.”

Woods final gained on the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Nation Membership in Akron, Ohio 5 years in the past.

Reporter Tom Goldman for NPR mentioned that Woods’ dominance in the match was paying homage to his profitable run in the early 2000s.

“Woods led the match from begin to end. His regular, dominating play appeared like a throwback to the early 2000s, when he dominated the sport,” Goodman advised NPR.

Woods’ subsequent match is the Ryder Cup in France.
