College of Georgia baseball participant Adam Sasser is in scorching water after allegedly referring to a Black soccer participant as a ni**er throughout Georgia’s 38–12 win over Tennessee this Saturday.
“We’re conscious of a reported incident this weekend involving conduct by considered one of our student-athletes,” Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity mentioned in a press release. “Whereas we’re restricted in what we will say concerning the incident at the moment, I wish to reemphasize that we don’t condone discriminatory conduct. Sasser’s baseball coach, Scott Stricklin, shared his disappointment over the matter.
“I count on each member of our workforce to behave always in a approach that upholds the very best requirements and values of the College of Georgia, and it’s disappointing when that doesn’t occur. Whereas I can’t touch upon this matter, we cooperate absolutely in any investigation involving an alleged violation of College insurance policies.”
Political activist Shaun King claims Sasser has already been let go from the workforce over the derogatory remark.
