The lingering strike motion by the Tutorial Workers Union of Universities ASUU will continue as the meeting between the management of the educational union and the Federal authorities ended in a deadlock immediately December 4th. The meeting which held on the Minister of Schooling, Adamu Adamu‘s workplace, failed to see each events attain an settlement.
The Union started their strike motion on November fifth to demand higher funding for universities and alleged plans by the Federal authorities to improve pupil charges.
Talking to newsmen after the meeting, ASUU president Biodun Ogunyemi, mentioned
”Now we have been meeting however we’re but to attain any concrete determination”.
