The Minister of Energy, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has stated that accidents and avoidable accidents that happen on highways are not at all times on account of unhealthy roads as claimed by many Nigerian street customers.
The Minister acknowledged this when he spoke at a capability constructing workshop on the activation of the 5 United Nations’ Conference on Highway Site visitors acceded to by Nigeria in Abuja yesterday March 20th. In response to the Minister, over rushing and reckless driving are the primary causes of accidents on Nigerian roads.
In a press release issued by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Works and Housing on Wednesday, the minister famous that accidents and avoidable accidents that occurred day by day on highways had been regrettable.
The assertion stated Fashola informed members on the workshop that there was no state in Nigeria that the Federal Authorities was not executing one street challenge or the opposite.
