A 70-year-old man identified as Ben Duamlong, has graduated from the University of Jos (UNIJOS) with a first-class degree.
According to DailyTrust, Duamlong graduated from the institution in 2022–2023 together with 20,532 other students.

The former Super Eagles coach asserted that he wanted to enrol in the degree programme because he was passionate about learning after quitting as a football coach.
The septuagenarian argued that it shouldn’t be the case that getting a top-notch education is viewed as a challenging task for students.
“What prompted me to go back to the university at this age is because of my passion for art. All my life, I have
always drawn but never painted. I like painting. I can draw but I can’t paint.
So, after retiring in 2014, as a footballer, I stayed home doing nothing. That is why I decided to go back to school,” Duamlong said.
