A tragic road accident occurred at the entrance of Ilupeju, a neighboring community of the Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), in Ekiti State, resulting in the unfortunate demise of three individuals.
The victims included Oyinkansola, a 300-level Mass Communication student at FUOYE, her brother, and a commercial motorcyclist. They were fatally struck by a truck during the early hours of Friday, September 15, 2023.
Oyinkansola’s brother had recently graduated from the university and owned a Unisex Salon.
A social media user, @Idris_Aloma, who identified themselves as a student of FUOYE, shared a video from the accident scene.
“This happened right in my school, Federal University Oye Ekiti. Passion unisex salon owner died along with his junior sister in a ghastly accident. May their souls rest in perfect peace,” he wrote.
