Nashawn Breedlove, the actor famous for his role as a battle-rapper facing off against Eminem in the film “8 Mile,” has sadly passed away at the age of 46.
Nashawn passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 24, at his residence in New Jersey. His family has informed TMZ that the cause of his death is currently unknown.

Nashawn portrayed the character Lotto in the 2002 movie, which is loosely based on Eminem’s life. He is best known for a memorable scene in which his character engages in a rap battle with Eminem’s character, B-Rabbit.
Prior to his breakthrough role in ‘8 Mile,’ Nashawn pursued a career in rap under his stage name OX. He even contributed to the soundtrack of the 2001 film “The Wash,” alongside Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
