Renowned Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has strongly criticized investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, for her comments regarding a video in which Iyabo and her colleague, Tonto Dikeh, were seen shopping for a casket for the late singer, Mohbad.
The video, which gained widespread attention on Thursday, September 28, sparked a range of reactions on social media. While some criticized the celebrities for sharing such content online, others came to their defense. If you missed it, you can watch the video here.

In response to the incident, Kemi Olunloyo took to Facebook to express her disapproval of Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh’s decision to make the video public. She questioned whether Iyabo would have appreciated the same treatment if it were her own child who had passed away.
In her own words:
“Nigerians are criticizing Tonto and Iyabo all over the internet. I am certain that if Festus or Priscilla had died, she would not have wanted anyone to film the casket shopping and share it online. Tonto is already known for chasing clout. I was the one who suggested that Sanwo should provide a befitting burial at Ebony vaults. You stole the idea and ruined it by recording it for content. Even Mohbad is singing ‘Wetin be dis one like? The young man has suffered.'”
This statement clearly did not sit well with Iyabo Ojo, prompting her to respond robustly to Kemi Olunloyo. She warned that if Kemi mentions her children’s names or wishes harm upon them again, she will face the consequences of the Yoruba deity, ‘Ogun’.

Iyabo shared a screenshot of Kemi’s post on her social media page and added the following caption:
“Kem kem, you wretched person, liar, always in need of urgent 2k, ex-convict, suffering from ptsd, I heard you fled to Ghana. Why are you running now? The next time you mention my children’s names or wish them harm, Ogun will deal with you. I pray to God… Madam, fake journalist, deceitful person, you are known for drinking malt worldwide. I know where you truly belong, and I promise you that you will return there soon. You will hear from me.”
If anyone knows Kemi Olunloyo’s current whereabouts, please contact me via direct message. She will not be able to hide her face and sneak into Nigeria under the cover of darkness. Her true intentions will be evident, and she will cry like an owl.
