Popular Nigerian actress Lizzy Gold has called out for help after her housemaid allegedly absconds with a sum of money.
In a video shared on social media, the actress, Lizzy Gold, accused the supposed housekeeper of stealing €1,000 from her home.
According to her, the housemaid went into her bedroom while she was away at work and absconded with the sum of money.
Narrating her ordeal, she explained that the lady had recently asked for leave to travel for Aba after seven months of working for her.
Lizzy said she was quite surprised but had to agree with her decision to leave and promised to send her salary to her bank account.
She, however, received a rude shock when she returned home from a movie location and discovered that the housekeeper had left without informing her.
She also discovered that the €1,000 she kept in her drawer had vanished. She said she believes the housekeeper took it and fled, but she does not have concrete evidence to support this claim.
Lizzy said she has involved the police in the case and hopes to get a positive outcome.
