Nigerian actress, Adeyela Adebola, better known as Lizzy Jay, has taken to social media to share her experience with a blackmailer who has a private video of hers.
In a 15-minute video, she revealed that she fell seriously ill few months ago and was prescribed antibiotics and opiods. However, she suffered a severe adverse reaction to these medications, experiencing symptoms like skin itching, rashes, and bleeding from her private area.
She recounted how she needed to contact her male friend, who also happened to be a doctor, through WhatsApp to describe her condition. Upon her description, the doctor requested that she send a video of the affected area for examination.
Actress Lizzy Jay expressed her hesitation about sharing the video initially because of their friendship. However, she ultimately decided to do so. To share the video, she used her Snapchat and edited the content to show only the part she wanted him to see.
She transmitted this edited video to her friend, who confirmed that her symptoms were indeed a reaction to the medications. He advised her to discontinue using the drugs. Afterward, she deleted the video from her Snapchat.
Recently, she noticed comments on her social media from someone claiming to possess her private videos and threatening to release them.
Initially, she disregarded these claims, believing that nobody had her explicit content. However, the situation escalated when the blackmailer began sending threatening emails.
The blackmailer had access to her hacked email address, which was the same one she had previously used for her Snapchat and other social media accounts before changing it.
The blackmailer proceeded to post the video on Instagram and brought it to her attention. In response, she used the opportunity to gather information about the blackmailer from his Instagram highlights.
Despite the threats, Lizzy Jay remained steadfast and refused to comply with the blackmailer’s demands. In response, the blackmailer threatened to share the video on various blogs and upload it on TikTok.
Lizzy Jay firmly conveyed to the blackmailer that she would not give in to extortion by sending money. Instead, she pledged to use the funds to locate the blackmailer’s identity rather than succumb to his threats.
Lizzy captioned the video,
“For the past few days, I have received calls and message from someone who claim to have my nudes.
The calls and comments on my page are aimed at forcing me to a negotiation table to become a victim of blackmail.
NOTE: MY DOCTOR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS BLACKMAIL, APART FROM BEING MY DOCTOR, HE IS ALSO ONE OF THE PEOPLE I TRUST WITH MY LIFE. THIS IS A DOCTOR I HAVE BEEN USING FOR YEARSSS AND NO ISSUE EVER SINCE… KINDLY WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO BEFORE CONCLUDING, YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING YOU WANT TO ME, BUT PLEASE LEAVE MY DOCTOR OUT OF THIS, HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS BLACKMAIL!!!!!!
