Kemi Ariyo has been named the Director of Information and Technology, while Harmanpreet Singh Dhillon will take on the role of Director of Network Transformation and Planning.

Commenting on the recent additions, Airtel Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer, Carl Cruz, expressed his confidence in Kemi Ariyo’s extensive experience and highlighted her significant role in driving the company’s digital transformation efforts. Furthermore, Cruz emphasized Harmanpreet Singh Dhillon’s responsibility in spearheading Airtel’s network transformation initiatives, aimed at bolstering infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted services for subscribers.

It is worth noting that Harmanpreet Singh Dhillon boasts an impressive background in the telecommunications industry, with over 23 years of experience and a passion for driving technological advancements. He has held notable positions in organizations such as Vodafone, Nokia, Huawei, and most recently served as Chief Technology Officer at One Airtel in Karnataka, India.
Similarly, Kemi Ariyo brings a wealth of cross-industry and cross-continental career experience, particularly in the IT value-chain. Her expertise lies in providing technical solutions that enhance service efficiency, customer experience, and business profitability. Ariyo’s journey with Airtel began in 2017, after several leadership roles at IBM, where she initially started as a Business Operations Analyst.
Notably, Airtel recently concluded its first round of staff promotions for the financial year 2023/24. This promotion cycle saw the elevation of 20 employees to senior leadership roles, with three of them being women. One of these women even achieved the prestigious position of vice president.
