Traversing the thoroughfare in Lagos, the tanker collided with a white vehicle before toppling over, resulting in the release of its diesel cargo onto the road. Promptly, nearby residents hastily emerged, armed with containers, to secure their own supply of diesel. Some resorted to scooping fuel directly from the roadside, while others boldly climbed the overturned tanker to access the valuable resource.
