A train and Bus in Transit (BRT) collided in the Ikeja area of Lagos on Thursday morning, March 9.

Several passengers are feared dead following the impact of the collision.

The accident occurred at Adekunle Fauyi way in Ikeja, Lagos state. See the videos below:

The crash occurred on Thursday morning, February 9, on the Kara Bridge axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and has caused heavy gridlock on the bridge inwards Opic and has also extended beyond Berger affecting outbound movement to Lagos.
According to the eye witness reports, the trailer rammed the vehicles from behind which led to the Toyota Matrix car falling off the bridge.
The number of casualties is currently unknown. However, the unconscious body of a hawker was seen lying on the road.
