Content creator and actress, Tomama, also recognized as Datwarrigirl, humorously offered guidance to her fellow artist, Anita Asuoha, widely known as Real Warri Pikin, in light of the current music industry controversy in Nigeria.
In an Instagram video she posted, Tomama jokingly suggested that Anita, who had recently opted for weight loss surgery to change her appearance, should not have invested her funds in the procedure.
She said, in her opinion, Anita wasted her hard-earned money to shed some weight, when she could have simply joined the controversial record label, Marlian Music, owned by singer Naira Marley.
This comes amidst the scandal involving Naira Marley, following the death of his former record label signee, Mohbad.
Netizens have been juxtaposing the appearance of artistes before and after joining the Marlian Music label, speculating that some had lost weight.
In light of this, Tomama jokingly suggested to Real Warri Pikin that she should have considered joining the label instead of spending millions on surgery.
The video captured the attention of Real Warri Pikin, and she laughed over it and expressed her agreement with Tomama’s statement.
She added that she might have also adopted a ‘foreign’ accent, as seen in the label’s signees.
