Social media has been rocked by reports that Kunle Okuneye, the flamboyant Crossdresser Bobrisky’s father, has passed away.
The news was corroborated by the deceased’s son, Debola Okuneye, who told a media outlet that the male barbie’s father passed away early on Monday morning.
Kunle Okuneye, the father of well-known Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has apparently passed away.
Debola Okuneye, the late Okuneye’s son, confirmed the shocking information to PUNCH, revealing that the crossdresser’s father passed away in the early hours of Monday dawn.
They are currently making plans for his final farewell and funeral procedures in accordance with Debola’s story.
He said, “Yes, my father died this morning and we are making preparations for his burial.”
Commenting on Okuneye’s passing, a close friend and colleague of the late man, who went by the name Lastborn, said that the deceased will be buried in accordance with Islamic traditions.
The interment is scheduled for 4 p.m. today, according to Lastborn, the secretary at Beach Nigeria Enterprises, a prestigious car rental company located near the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, where the recently deceased Okunneye held a directorial position. The funeral will follow Islamic customs, Lastborn further confirmed.
‘Yes, you saw it. It’s true, he will be buried by 4 pm today,” Lastborn confirmed.
Okuneye, a native of Ijebu-Igbo in Ogun state, will be laid to rest in his hometown.
