In the photo, which has since gone viral, Musk’s bedroom is shown to be a simple space with a mattress laid out on a tiled floor, and a laptop plugged into a wall socket.
The bed is tucked into a little corner, giving the impression that the room is big.
Someone as affluent as Musk, whose net worth was estimated at $202 billion according to Forbes’ most recent survey on the World’s Richest Men in April 2022, amazed the fan who posted the photo by choosing to sleep in such a small space.

In response to the tweet, Musk confirmed that he recently slept on a friend’s couch and not in a castle, debunking the misconception that he lives a lavish lifestyle.
“Not totally wrong. Slept on a friend’s couch last weekend,” the billionaire wrote.
Meanwhile, the photo of the bedroom allegedly belonging to Musk has been flagged as false because he lives in a 3-bedroom house in Texas, USA, which is valued at $45,000.
