Donald Trump, a former president of the United States (U.S.), has made history by becoming the first sitting president to be charged by a jury.
On Thursday, a grand jury in Manhattan chose to indict Trump. For the first time in US history, a former president is being investigated for a felony.
An indictment was released following the payment of $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels in the final weeks of the 2016 presidential campaign. The porn star asserts that they had sex in 2006, according to Donald Trump.
Donald has vehemently refuted this allegation. He claimed that Stormy Daniels’ payment was made as compensation for litigation costs.

A DA’s office spokesperson verified the indictment while revealing that Trump will appear in court on Tuesday for his criminal arraignment and tax fraud.
The DA has verified the charge of falsifying business records, which carries a four-year prison sentence, even though the charges against Trump are not yet known.
