The level for anyone who represents the Nigerian men’s senior national team must always be the best, according to Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro.
This was Peseiro’s assessment of the Super Eagles’ performance on Tuesday after they defeated Mozambique with 10 men to cap off their October international break.
The Super Eagles defeated Mozambique, an East African country, 3-2 on Monday to earn their first victory in friendly games since the year 2019.
“With the team and staff united, we have reinforced various aspects and identified mistakes to be corrected after another period of training and games,” Peseiro added.
“Anyone who represents the Super Eagles must always uphold the greatest standards. The players gave a great effort.
