A fraudster who impersonated Nigerian actor Frederick Leonard and defrauded a woman of N104 million was arrested. Frederick Leonard responded.
The FCT High Court in Kuje heard the case against the imposter known as Kelvin Aisosa Orhue after the EFCC had taken him into custody. By exploiting Frederick Lenoard’s identity, he is said to have defrauded Cheryldene Cook of N104 million.
The imposter plead guilty, was found guilty, and was given a year in prison with the option of paying a fine of N1,000,000 (one million Naira).
As he shared the information, Frederick wrote on his page:

Still on impersonation, WITHIN NIGERIA recalls a man was also sent to prison for impersonating popular Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo aka Nino B.
On Friday, February 17, 2023, Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court sitting in Warri, convicted and sentenced the man, Omoghan Destiny Igbinosa, to prison on separate one count charge of impersonation and obtaining by false pretence, just months after the actor cried out about it.
