It is the birthday of veteran Nigerian actor, Olu Jacobs, and his wife Joke Silva, has taken to social media to celebrate her husband.
Joke shared a photo of Olu Jacobs on his 81st birthday, wishing him a happy birthday, praying for him, and thanking God for being gracious to him.
Joke stated that her fans have been celebrating him since May, noting that today is the official day, she called on her followers to wish her husband a very happy birthday.
She wrote:
“Show boy. Happy birthday dearest as you add plus 1 @_olujacobs God is good… always Sir Js fans have been celebrating his birthday since May. Note…. Today is the official day 11th July”.
Joke Silva talked about how Olu Jacob’s fight with dementia has affected their marriage in a touching conversation with media personality and actress Nancy Isime.
The Thespian praised her husband as an outstanding husband and parent who carried out his duties without fail.
As she recalled their early years together, Silva made clear that Jacobs was not just her best friend but also her entire life before they got married.
But their relationship has undergone substantial adjustments as a result of his illness’s course.
She stated:
“It hasn’t been simple… There came a time when I had to realize that all that was occurring was fact and that, like the person I married, most of the time, they were no longer there.
“But, the fact is that while he was there,
