A UK-based Nigerian has been left in disbelieve after he spotted some cartons of Nigeria’s COVID-19 palliative noodles with branded label, being sold at a local market in the United Kingdom.

The palliatives, contributed under the Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) scheme during the peak of the pandemic was meant to be distributed to Nigerians to cushion the effect of the virus on the economy and life of citizens.

A Twitter user simply known as Chisom, shared a screenshot of the message he received from a UK resident who took a snapshot of the branded palliative noodles he came across at an African market in East ham, London.

According to the message, it was learnt that the food items were allegedly imported into London by a Chinese UK company.

He also revealed that the company has been reported to the British Trading company to be investigated and prosecuted.

Sharing the screenshot on Twitter, Chisom wrote;

“Covid-19 palliatives sold in the UK??????
