Popular celebrity chef Hilda Baci, has revealed that she keeps refreshing her email awaiting confirmation from Guinness World Records.
It could be recalled that the Nigerian Chef jumped on the cooking marathon in the quest to break the record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon.
According to Los Angeles-born Chef Lata Tondon of India, Rickey Lumpkin held the record by continuously cooking for 68 hours, 30 minutes, and one second in 2018.
In 2019, Chef Lata Tondon smashed the record by cooking for 87 hours and 40 minutes. Over the course of four days, she produced 400 vada pavs, 250 sandwiches, and more than 1,600 kg of food.

Hilda Baci broke her record after cooking for 100 hours and 40 minutes. However, Guinness Word Records are yet to officially recognize her as the new record holder. According to them, all the evidence needs to be reviewed first before officially confirming a record.
Hilda Baci took to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to reveal that she has been refreshing her email consistently to see if there’s any email or update from Guinness World Record.
She tweeted;
Not me refreshing my email every second since we submitted all the evidence to Guinness World Records”.
In response Hilda Baci, Guinness World Records replied to her tweet saying, “our records team are working on it 💪“.
