Nigerian social media analyst, Daniel Regha, strongly denounces Nigerian humorist, Josh2funny, for his appearance on the America’s Got Talent program.
Josh2funny, known offstage as Josh Alfred, has gained significant attention on different online platforms after his tryout on the global show aiming for a $1,000,000 reward on Tuesday, August 8th.
The comedian, recognized for his satirical audition videos involving ‘speed-reading’ and enacting other comical roles, replicated a similar routine on the America’s Got Talent platform.

However, his presentation failed to strike a chord with the panel of judges – Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofa Vergara, and Howie Mande – as well as the spectators, resulting in unanimous dismissals.
Unfazed by the rejections, Josh made two additional appearances on stage donning distinct costumes to alter his appearance and reattempt his audition.
During his final try, he successfully captured the audience’s affection and ultimately secured four unanimous ‘YES’ votes from Simon Cowell, acting on behalf of his fellow judges.

The video has sparked a considerable online buzz, with numerous individuals applauding Josh for gracing the global platform. Meanwhile, others have shared their evaluations of his performance.
One of the critics of Josh’s act is the controversial Twitter figure, Daniel Regha, who severely criticized him for squandering the time of both the judges and the audience.
Daniel Regha also chastised Josh for squandering the chance to deliver an authentic, exceptional performance on the show, asserting that many would seize the opportunity to audition on America’s Got Talent.

He tweeted,
“Nigerians will applaud anything as long as a Nigerian is getting the hype, & it’s beyond shamefu!. Josh misused the America’s Got Talent platform by wasting everyone’s time, which isn’t funny. Thousands audition each year but only a few get selected, so why waste the opportunity?”
