Journalist and ovation boss, Dele Momodu is currently under fire on social media, for not joining the ongoing #Endsars protest.

Nigerians in their numbers have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment that the journalist did not join the #EndSARS protest, and is yet to say anything against police brutality in the country.

Dele Momodu who is a fan of the reality TV show, campaigned heavily for billionaire son, Kiddwaya, during the recently concluded BBNaija ‘lockdown’ season and also showered praises on Erica during an interview with her.

According to many Netizens, the journalist should have transferred the same energy he used to campaign for some ex BBNaija housemates, to protest against the killing of Nigerians by SARS officials.

A Twitter user wrote, “Dele Momodu was here chasing clout daily with Kidd and Erica, now he has lost his voice on this #EndSarsProtests . WE ARE OUR OWN PROBLEM!!!”

@wil_prosper wrote, “Dele momodu will prefer to talk about Davido, Erica and BBN than speak against SARS. …Weyre dey Disguise”.

@o_kanyy tweeted, “Dele Momodu was so active during the BBN show and even claimed to be uniting Africa with Erica but now his voice is needed the most on this #EndSARS matter he is no where to be found”.

@unclebayotics wrote,

“Sanwo olu was all over Lagos when he was contesting, Dele momodu was all over Twitter when Erica got disqualified, Burna boy will talk when it’s time for Grammy. Now they are no where to be found when we need them the most. Someone play me Hypocrite by FALZ, #EndSARS.”
