Men of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service are being awaited for further emergency operation to salvage the situation.

Tuesday saw chaos break out in the Oba Akran, Ikeja region of Lagos State after an unidentified helicopter collided with a building and burst into flames.

On Oba Akran Street in Ikeja, the administrative centre of Lagos State, the incident took place next to the AP Filling Station and United Bank for Africa.

An eyewitness reported that the incident happened about 3.30 p.m. At the time of writing, it was uncertain if the helicopter pilots had survived.
First responders were still actively involved in continuing rescue operations, so it was unknown if there were any other fatalities.
For additional emergency actions to stabilize the situation, the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service was being anticipated.
