The Green Girl Company Limited, (organizers of the Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant), are set to hold their first ever Raising Girls Summit, as part of a global effort to empower, and deliberate on issues affecting the girl-child in Africa.

The Summit, which will be held on October 11th, 2019, at the Incubator Event Centre, Chief Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Victoria Island, Lagos, in commemoration of the International day of the Girl-Child, aims to influence social change and policies to ensure the better life and the future prospect of girls in Africa.

The Summit targets over 1500 participants directly, with targeted audience including stakeholders from international institutions, public/private sectors, Non-Governmental Organizations, Government, media, educationists, parents, students, and the general public.

Highlights of the event will include an award session that celebrates women and men who have played key roles to promote girls in Africa, presentation of short stories, drama, poems, stage plays, and essays, by students, and talk shows by various speakers.

  • Economic Empowerment
  • Environmental Sustainability.
