A report claims that if Victor Osimhen leaves the defending Serie A winners this season, Napoli will look at Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun as a possible replacement.
Osimhen is attracting interest from several top European clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, for a potential transfer during the summer window.
With Arsenal already having Gabriel Jesus in their squad, it is speculated that they may bring in a new striker during the summer. This could potentially open the door for Balogun, who is valued at £30 million, to make a move.
Balogun is the target of Napoli’s quest for a suitable successor. The youthful striker enjoyed a standout loan season in France’s Ligue 1 with Stade Reims, when he scored 21 goals and provided three assists in various tournaments.
However, replacing Osimhen, who has contributed 30 goals and five assists in 38 matches for Napoli, would undoubtedly be a challenging task for any player.
