A Nigerian woman residing in the United Kingdom has shared an incident where she narrowly avoided a problem by apologizing.
In a video she posted on social media, the woman explained that she had gone to a store to return an item she had purchased, only to discover that she already owned the same item at home.
However, when the storekeeper started the refund process, she politely said “I’m sorry for the inconveniences”.
This unexpected apology didn’t sit well with the storekeeper and she questioned if she had used some of the product before returning it, implying that she apologized out of guilt.

Following this experience, the lady stated that Brits only apologize when they are wrong or have committed an offense.
She added that when someone falls down, Brits would only ask if they are okay, instead of saying sorry. According to her, this encounter has taught her how to deal with Brits.
