A Nigerian man has evicted his wife from their shared home after learning that she has been using contraceptives to prevent having children with him due to his physical appearance.
A collection of voice messages circulating on the internet captures the couple’s conversation with a mediator attempting to assist them in resolving their marital dispute.
The wife had sought the mediator’s intervention after she was sent packing for trying to avoid getting pregnant for her husband.
In the voice note, she stated that she still loves her husband and when she looks at him now, she finds him more attractive than before.
However, when the husband was contacted, he maintained his stance to end their marriage because he has suffered a lot at the hands of his wife.

He said she calls him fat, ugly, and shames him for having a big tummy. However, the height of it was when he discovered her use of contraceptives to avoid conceiving children who might look like him.
According to the man who sounded distraught and heartbroken, he thought he was impotent and their infertility was his fault all along, only to learn that it was his wife’s deliberate choice.
The husband recounted his efforts to take care of his wife and her family, remain faithful to her, buy her gifts and take her on vacations.
However, due to her wicked act, he firmly declared his decision to end their marriage. He also told the mediator to tell his wife to come and pack her belongings from his house. He also encouraged her to pursue a relationship with her tall and handsome ex-boyfriend.
