Amidst online discussions, two Nigerian individuals presently engaged in the U.S. military have offered their perspective in response to critics questioning their decision to forgo enlistment in the Nigerian army, opting instead to serve a foreign nation.
In a circulating video, the soldiers addressed those condemning their choice, advising them to actively consider joining the Nigerian army if they feel compelled to do so, while encouraging them to refrain from involving them in the discourse.
One of the soldiers further described Nigeria as a vacation spot and not where people should live, and advised people to leave the country.
The clip has sparked a myriad of comments on social media, with many sharing differing opinions on the soldiers’ statements.
