Today, July 31, President Bola Tinubu bestowed the recently appointed Service Chiefs with their new ranks during a ceremony held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The distinguished individuals who were newly inaugurated into their roles include General Christopher Musa, now the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS); Lt-General Taoreed Lagbaja, taking on the position of Chief of Army Staff (COAS); Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, assuming the role of Chief of Air Staff (CAS); and Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, who now serves as the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS).
The event was marked with a display of official pomp and circumstance as President Tinubu took on the responsibility of adorning the service chiefs with their well-deserved new ranks.
