: President Ahmed Tinubu has officially designated five individuals to join the office of the president in roles within the media and publicity directorate.
According to a statement released by the Presidency, the newly appointed individuals include Fela Durotoye (Senior Special Assistant to the President – National Values & Social Justice), Fredrick Nwabufo (Senior Special Assistant to the President – Public Engagement), and Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe (Senior Special Assistant to the President – Strategic Communications). Additionally, Aliyu Audu will serve as the Special Assistant to the President – Public Affairs, while Francis Adah Abah takes on the role of Personal Assistant to the President – Special Duties.
Furthermore, President Tinubu has approved the secondment of Akhigbe to serve as the Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission.
In light of their appointments, the President urges all new appointees within the Media and Publicity directorate to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, decorum, and respect when engaging with the public.
