On Twitter, a user going by the handle @numberonetweep criticized Nigerian professional footballer Asisat Oshoala for her style of goal celebration.
After scoring three goals for the Super Falcons team, Asisat Oshoala excitedly removed her jersey.
The result was a 3-2 victory for Nigeria in the game.
On Thursday, July 27, Asisat Oshoala, a gifted female football player from Nigeria, attracted both praise and criticism after scoring an outstanding goal to defeat the co-hosts, Australia.
Her on-field behavior created a discussion on social media, despite the fact that many Nigerians praised her as the finest female player in Africa.

After scoring the decisive goal, Oshoala removed her jersey in celebration, a move that caught the attention of the Twitter community.
A man identified on Twitter as @numberonetweep with a substantial following of over 40 thousand users, expressed strong disapproval towards Oshoala’s actions.
The influencer tweeted his displeasure, saying he thought it was wrong for a lady to celebrate by taking off her jersey and showing her body. He hinted that Asisat Oshoala needed to “fix up” and that her actions did not make sense.
In his words:
“Removing your jersey and exposing your body just because you scored a goal doesn’t make sense at all as a woman.
Asisat Oshoala really need to fix up.”
