FCT, Abuja – Prophet Tomi Arayomi, the esteemed founder of RIG Nation, recently made a compelling statement regarding the political climate in Nigeria. Expressing his concerns, he revealed that he had received a vision of individuals in Nigeria conspiring to manipulate the constitution to serve their own nefarious purposes. Arayomi firmly believes that Nigeria’s current challenges are not a result of happenstance, but rather a deliberate setup.
The arrest of Prophet Arayomi, along with his wife Tamar and an aide, earlier this year in Abuja caused a significant stir. However, they were subsequently released and returned to their international base. Tobi Arayomi, the twin brother of the spiritual leader, has alleged that the arrest was politically motivated due to the “inciting prophecies” made by his brother during the 2023 elections. The Department of State Services (DSS), however, did not provide any official comment on the reasons behind the arrest at that time.
Coinciding with the delivery of the judgment by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on electoral disputes involving prominent figures such as President Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi, Prophet Arayomi shared a cryptic message on social media. Accompanying a video clip, he posted the following caption on his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle: “I witnessed a gathering of individuals in Nigeria intent on dismantling the constitution to further their own malevolence. Nigeria, your setbacks are a part of a larger plan! The Nigerian judiciary is being tested.”
In his message, Prophet Arayomi emphasized that people would undoubtedly lament the actions of these purportedly wicked leaders who are abusing the Nigerian constitution. Nevertheless, he believes that God will bring about a new era for Nigeria, where positive changes will manifest suddenly, even if they are not immediately apparent.
