Nigerian vocalist, Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, who goes by the stage name Seyi Vibez, has shared that his inspiration to pursue a career in entertainment was kindled by none other than the renowned musician, Runtown.
The artist behind ‘Bullion Van’ unveiled this revelation during an outing with Runtown and Adesope Olajide, a UK-based writer and podcaster also known as Shopsydoo.
In a recently surfaced online video, Adesope recounted that it was Runtown who first introduced him to Seyi Vibez’s music four years ago.
Responding to this, the acclaimed singer acknowledged Runtown as his mentor and the driving force behind his entire career journey.
Shopsydoo said, “Let me tell you something that you don’t even know, Runtown was the first person to mention Seyi Vibez to me almost four years ago,”
Seyi Vibez replied, “That’s why I said he [Runtown] is my OG. The likes of Runtown inspired my whole [music] career, trust me. I swear down.”
