Onabiyi passed away on Sunday, October 22, leaving behind a legacy of grassroots politics and philanthropy that extended beyond his community.
Throughout his career, Onabiyi held various positions of leadership, including Chairman of Ifo Local Council, Commissioner for Agriculture, Chairman of the Nigeria Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), and Chairman of the Elders Council of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State. These roles showcased his dedication to public service and his commitment to improving the lives of others.
