In a recent interview with Andy Mitten on The Athletic FC, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær revealed his interest in signing Harry Kane for the club. Solskjær stated, “I would have signed Harry Kane every day of the week and my understanding was that he wanted to come to Man Utd.”
However, Solskjær also acknowledged the financial constraints faced by the club due to the impact of Covid-19. He explained, “Unfortunately, the club didn’t have the budget to make the signing, as we were dealing with the financial limitations imposed by the pandemic. There simply was no bottomless pit of funds available.”
