After being accused of being frugal by her colleague Tonto Dikeh, Nollywood actress Ini Edo has spoken out.
Ini Edo appeared to counter the attack on her personality on her Instagram page.
She realized that, despite attempts to harm one’s reputation or character, one’s past good deeds cannot be undone.
In a recent turn of events, Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has chosen to confront the public feud with her colleague, Tonto Dikeh, who accused her of being stingy on social media.
Remember how Tonto Dikeh said D’banj and Ini Edo are very frugal a few days ago?
She went on to caution anyone in desperate need not to turn to them for aid because they are unable to provide it.
What appears
In her message, Ini Edo acknowledged the potential harm that can be inflicted upon one’s reputation or character by others.
She highlighted the fact that people have the ability to tarnish an individual’s image or personality through their words and actions. However, she also emphasized a significant counterpoint – that no matter the attempts to malign, there are certain aspects of a person that remain untarnished.
Specifically, Ini Edo pointed out that the good deeds a person has done cannot be erased by negative descriptions or attempts to damage their character.
She suggested that those who truly understand and know an individual will continue to hold them in high regard, regardless of external attempts to cast them in a negative light.
In her words:
“People may destroy your image, stain your personality, but they can’t take away your good deeds because no matter how they describe you, you will still be admired by those who really know you better.”
