Nigerian singer Niyola has spoken out against the trend of people constantly updating their every move on social media.
Taking to the new social app, Thread, the “Toh Bad” crooner urged fans to be more mindful of their online presence and the kind of information they put out there.

She stated that since social media provides updates on one’s life, individuals no longer need to keep track of others through monitoring spirits.
She wrote:
“People using evil altars don’t need to send out monitoring spirits to keep track of you. You do a pretty amazing job of keeping them updated by telling all your business on social media. Learn what to share and what not to share.
Learn Boundaries.
Stop keeping your enemies updated with your every move. Sometimes, it’s not warfare, you just talk too much”.
A few days ago, Niyola, who has been in the news ever since it was said that she had an affair with married musician Banky W, moved many people with her voice as she sobbed uncontrollably while singing.
Adesua Etomi and her husband Banky W could be seen praising the artist for her lovely singing in the comments area.
Adesua Etomi and her husband Banky left comments in response to Niyola’s lovely video of herself singing a gospel tune.
