In extending his congratulations to President Tinubu, the Deputy Speaker emphasized that the Supreme Court’s ruling also serves as confirmation of the will of the Nigerian people, who turned out in large numbers on February 25, 2023, to vote for President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Through a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu stated that democracy has emerged triumphant in Nigeria as a result of this victory.

Furthermore, he called on the opposition to embrace the renewed hope agenda of the federal government now that the legal dispute has been settled, in order to improve the well-being of the Nigerian people.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on his resounding victory in the Supreme Court.
“I commend the judiciary for their unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity of our judicial system. Today’s verdict is a testament to the power of democracy and the rule of law.
“I also congratulate the leadership of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). This landmark victory once again affirms that our party has the mandate of the people, and it further strengthens the President’s dedication and determination to serve the nation. Despite distractions, he has remained steadfast in delivering a renewed hope agenda to the country.
“With this final ruling by the Supreme Court, I urge all aggrieved opponents to support the current administration and focus on governance and nation building. This is a collective responsibility that can only be achieved through unity, leaving behind conflict and political discord. Ultimately, this victory signifies the triumph of democracy in Nigeria,” stated
