Eyewitnesses reported that the fire occurred during maintenance work on the embassy’s power generating plant, leading to a tragic outcome for three members of the technical crew. One individual managed to escape through the roof of the power house, while others were forcefully expelled due to the intense fire explosion.
Distressed embassy staff sought refuge outside the gates, recounting that the blaze erupted at approximately 11:30 PM. Firefighting trucks swiftly arrived at the scene to combat the flames, while ongoing rescue operations aimed to ensure the safety of all personnel involved.
