After the tragic event of a railway crushing a BRT bus in Lagos state, the reality television personality criticized the government for its incompetence.
On Thursday morning, a moving train collided with a state bus transporting government officials to work.
The terrible accident happened at the PWD bus stop in the state’s Ikeja district, and six people have been confirmed deceased by emergency services.
There was also footage of wounded patients being treated outside a hospital because there was no room inside.
In response to the development, Leo accused the government of failing to provide excellent service to the people while robbing and defrauding them.
He described Nigeria’s political and governance systems as primitive.
Leo wrote; “I don’t know mahn, imagine having a fatal accident in a staff bus owned by the government and there is no room in the government hospital to accommodate you?
This is why I call our politics primitive. We steal, cheat and kill to serve bare minimum to the people.”
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Nosa Okunbor had said over 82 others were injured and evacuated to LASUTH.
“The State Government staff bus was trying to cross the PWD/Sogunle rail crossing while the train coming into Lagos from Abeokuta trapped the bus on its rail,” he added.
