The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Governor Abdullahi Sule, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the governorship election in Nasarawa State and the women took to the streets to express their displeasure.
They protested because INEC proceeded to declare a winner of the governorship race despite there being disagreement over the results from the state capital’s Gayam and Ciroma electoral wards.
While demonstrating, some of the women wore black clothing. Some completely disrobed and scowled their resentment in front of the camera.
