Renowned comedian, Sabinus, offers his perspective on the health struggles faced by famous transgender individual, Jay Boogie, highlighting the overwhelming drawbacks of social media.
It is widely known that Jay Boogie has been grappling with health complications arising from a flawed surgery performed during a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure. In light of this, Jay Boogie has been reaching out to fellow Nigerians, appealing for financial assistance to cover his medical expenses.
Sabinus recently took to the internet to express his thoughts on the matter. He questioned the rationale behind someone willingly opting to remove their natural reproductive organ, only to later seek help online when complications arise.
Sabinus astutely pointed out that the funds used for Jay Boogie’s surgery and subsequent medical treatments could have been better allocated towards more noble causes. He drew attention to the countless families struggling to even procure basic sustenance beneath the Lagos main bridge.
In his own words:
“Tomorrow, I might consider removing my own reproductive organ to achieve a certain aesthetic, but if anything were to go wrong, I would not resort to crying out for help on social media. The prevalence of social media has given rise to numerous issues. Merely visit the mainland and witness the plight of families who have not had a meal in three days, yet they persevere. The disadvantages of social media now outweigh its advantages. I recall a time when children feared their parents, a time when certain behaviors were not entertained in a country that does not fully support such practices. I anticipate receiving insults for my sentiments, but that will not change the reality of the financial burden.”
