Social media content creator, Amarachi Amusi, aka Ashymushy has become a trending topic in an unexpected way after she revealed how she rejected the offer of a whopping N20 million to post and vote for a particular presidential candidate.
Ashmusy claimed that despite being tempted, she turned down offers of 10 to 20 million nairas to post a social media endorsement of a specific candidate.
The comedian claimed that by endorsing the wrong politician, she would be selling her soul and ruining the nation for her children, grandkids, and other relatives.
She added that she supports Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, and expects that he will keep his promises if he wins.
Ashmusy wrote; “Confession- I got offers of 10m to 20m for a (one) political post… (for the other candidate that we don’t want) It was tempting I won’t lie…
But realizing I’m gonna be selling my soul to the devil.. realizing My children, grandchildren, family, and Loved ones will be in the country suffering!! Because I made the ST*pid decision to post/vote for the wrong person… I said a BIG NO! hopefully, PETER OBI wins on Saturday.. and not just wins, but wins And does his job 100 percent.
God take full control this time abeg!! Because in this country, even the rich are suffering, how can I work so much to make money in naira, just for the naira to be dropping like pure water every day, if you change it to pounds or dollars, you will just cry, please we are all tired, forget God abeg!”
