ANigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and teammate Stephy Mavididi have been announced as joint winners of Leicester City’s Goal of the Month award for September.

Both players received an equal share of the votes, with 26 percent each from the fans.
Ndidi’s exceptional individual goal in Leicester’s 4-1 victory against Southampton in a Championship clash stood out as one of the best strikes of the month.
Following a well-executed pass from Mavididi, Ndidi skillfully evaded his marker before expertly slotting the ball past the Southampton goalkeeper.
His goal extended Leicester’s lead to 3-1 in the third minute of added time in the first half.
In the current season, Ndidi has contributed three goals and four assists in various competitions for the Foxes.
He also represented the Nigerian national team in friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique during the international break.
