A social media user on Twitter has taken the time to elaborate on her positive sentiments towards online fraud practitioners commonly known as “yahoo boys.”
In a post made by the Twitter handle @finegyaldemi, the individual provided an explanation for her attraction to these internet fraudsters. She articulated that her inclination towards them stems from their early recognition that concepts such as morality and legality are tools wielded by the influential to be interpreted according to their convenience.
Expanding on her perspective, she added that this realization often escapes many people, which in turn leads them to adhere to conventional paths like pursuing employment opportunities, even as they reach the age of 35.
The content of her tweet is as follows:
I like yahoo boys because they realized quite early that morality and legality are both constructs of the powerful to be interpreted by the powerful. Many of you don’t realize this until you’re 35 and still writing CVs from your apartment in Abule oja.
“Slavery was once legal and Moral. Alcohol was once illegal. Cocaine used to be legally sold in coke beverages. Make of that what you will. Frame this tweet because when the night is darkest and the sunrise is a forgotten memory, you will need it to enter a new realm of consciousness.”
