Renowned actor Yul Edochie recently took to his Instagram account to shed light on the harassment and bullying that the late singer Oladimeji Aloba, also known as MohBad, faced prior to his untimely demise. Edochie drew a parallel between the treatment MohBad received and the online harassment he himself has endured, emphasizing that these actions are unwarranted and should not be of concern to others.
Expressing his disappointment, Edochie stated, “All those who are posting ‘justice for MohBad,’ including the Nollywood community members who have joined in, you are no different from those who maltreated MohBad. You are all demons and wicked individuals, simply seeking attention. You are the same ones who have insulted and bullied me for over a year on the internet, attempting to harm me for matters that do not concern you.”
He continued by explaining, “My personal decisions in life are not your business. How many of you fought for MohBad when he was alive? Now that he is gone, you are exploiting his name to gain traffic on your platforms. You are all worthless individuals. Bloggers have spent over a year spreading false stories about me, turning to Facebook to make money by tarnishing my name with lies. None of you know the truth behind the choices I have made. You sit in judgment without understanding. Ignorant fools.”
Edochie further highlighted, “What MohBad experienced is what I have endured on the internet for over a year. How many members of the Nollywood community have spoken out against this? You are all waiting for my demise to post my picture and write your nonsense, ‘justice for…’ May thunder strike you all.”
The relentless bullying, insults, and curses that Edochie has faced online for such an extended period of time could have been enough to drive anyone to depression or even death. However, he remains resilient, stating, “You cannot kill me. God has made me strong. The demons of a hundred million of you will not penetrate me. Any evil you wish upon me will befall you a thousandfold. Witches and wizards.”
